UNIT – I

Definition of Accounting, Accounting concepts and terminologies, Accounting Records – Journals, Ledgers, Cash Book and other records of financial accounting.

UNIT – II

Depreciation, provision, reserves, Accruals Rectification of Errors – Trail balance, Final Accounts – Manufacturing, Trading Account – Profit & Loss Account – balance Sheet – Vertical and horizontal forms.

UNIT – III

Bank Reconciliation statement. Bills of Exchange, Consignment Accounts and Joint Venture.

UNIT – IV

Accounts of Incomplete records – Accounts of non-trading concerns.

UNIT – V

Partnership Accounts – methods of Maintaining Capital Accounts, Final Accounts – Admission, Retirement, Death – Dissolution.
